Lively block party along Edgewood Avenue features outdoor fest and a Halloween Parade

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., August 25, 2025 – The Murray Hill Preservation Association (MHPA) is thrilled to announce the return of Murray Hill-O-Ween on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 5 to 9 p.m. along Edgewood Avenue. The event is presented in partnership with Community First Credit Union, the Jacksonville-based institution renovating and repurposing the former Edgewood Bakery into a unique branch with special features for the entire Murray Hill community.

More than just a Halloween celebration, Murray Hill-O-Ween has become a beloved tradition—a community staple that unites neighbors and welcomes visitors from across Jacksonville. The event features activities for all ages, including a pumpkin patch, a kids’ zone with inflatables and activities, local vendors, and the night’s highlight: the annual Murray Hill-O-Ween Parade.

“We are so grateful for the support of Community First Credit Union,” said Greg Beere, President of the Murray Hill Preservation Association. “Its commitment to community mirrors our mission, and their partnership helps us make Murray Hill-O-Ween a vibrant, inclusive, and memorable celebration for everyone.”

“Community First is committed to being an engaged neighbor in Murray Hill,” said President and CEO Sam Inman. “Murray Hill-O-Ween is a wonderful annual rite of fall and we’re proud to be a part of this fun, family event.”

As with many Murray Hill retailers and businesses, the Community First team will participate in the event with giveaways and more at its street front. With the help of local businesses, supporters and partners like Community First Credit Union, Murray Hill-O-Ween continues to grow and evolve while staying true to its mission of strengthening the community.
