At Community First, we're here to help you maximize your savings so that you can focus on what's important to you. Begin a college fund savings account now with our help, so you don’t have to worry about it in the future. It's great for college students to plan for times they'll need extra cash, like during the summer or winter break.  It's also a great option for graduate students to save for things like BAR Exams, GMAT, GRA, CPA exam and anything else.

Looking for a way to knock out some of that college tuition? We’re here to make help you along that path. Apply for our special scholarship in which we give up to $8,000 ($2,000 annually per student, renewable for four years) to five graduating high school students who demonstrate leadership ability and financial need.

Am I eligible for membership at Community First Credit Union?

Community First Credit Union membership is open to anyone who lives, works, or attends school in one of the following Florida counties: Baker, Brevard, Broward, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Indian River, Lake, Martin, Nassau, Orange, Palm Beach, Putnam, Seminole, St. Johns, St. Lucie, or Volusia.

Membership is also open to any relative of an existing or eligible Community First Credit Union of Florida member. We also offer membership to select employer groups, including employees of Brooks Rehabilitation, Miller Electric Company, and Web.com. Not sure if you qualify? Contact us.

*SureBalance Checking accounts do not offer overdraft privilege. An initial deposit of $5, to be held in your Community First Savings (Share) Account, is required for membership.

**6-Month SaveUP CD: Available to all college, vocational and technical school students. An early withdrawal will reduce the earnings. The required minimum balance is $250 to open a 6-Month SaveUP CD.
