JACKSONVILLE, Fla., April 16, 2018 – Community First Credit Union, a full-service credit union based in Jacksonville with membership open to anyone who lives on the First Coast, announces it has signed a lease to relocate its Nassau County branch to an outparcel in front of the Villages of Amelia Center. The new address will be 463909 Unit 1, SR 200 in Yulee. The credit union will move from its existing location in the shopping center just to the west, where it has been since it opened in the county in 2008.
Community First serves more than 5,200 members in Nassau County with about $46 million in deposits at this branch.
“We are upgrading the banking experience for our Nassau County members,” said John Hirabayashi, CEO and president of Community First. “This branch will offer an improved in-person experience along with the convenience of a location in a shopping center our members are visiting weekly and sometimes daily.”
Interior build-out and exterior improvements will start this month and the branch is expected to open in fall 2018. Auld & White Constructors is the general contractor and TTV Architects is the design firm.
The new location will be nearly 2,450 square feet and will feature the credit union’s modern design, technology, layout and décor. The move is part of the credit union’s Branch Transformation Project, the institution’s most aggressive and comprehensive branch and facilities upgrade and update in its history which aligns physical branch locations with modern banking needs and customer uses. The new branch features Community First’s signature lobby, relaxation zone and walk-up ATM in a convenient outparcel location of one of Yulee’s largest shopping centers.
The interior features a redesign for modern banking including an open floor plan, bright colors and advanced technologies.
