Longtime community banker joins team as VP of Commercial Lending
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Nov. 2, 2018 – Community First Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions in Florida, announces it has appointed a new vice president of commercial lending. Greg Bossow joins the credit union from TD Bank where he most recently served as VP, SBA business development officer for North Florida.
Bossow has more than 35 years of financial and banking experience and specializes in commercial and SBA loans. At TD Bank he was named a top lender for North Florida in 2017. As VP of commercial lending at Community First, Bossow will manage an expanding team of commercial lending officers and specialists based at the credit union’s LaVilla headquarters.
Community First Credit Union has an expanding commercial loan portfolio and specializes in helping growing businesses based in the region through loans for real estate, construction, equipment, expansions and other commercial needs.
Prior to joining Community First, Bossow held SBA and commercial lending positions at Ameris Bank, Florida Business Development Corp., Center Bank and Monticello Bank. He held several positions with notable national and regional banks in Houston, Texas before coming to Jacksonville in the early 1990s.
Bossow earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management at Rowan University (New Jersey). In 2001, he was named the SBA North Florida Financial Services Advocate of the Year.
Community First recently renamed its business-focused division the commercial lending division.
