Who: Community First Credit Union and the JAX Chamber.
What: Dynamic outdoor health, wellness and lifestyle festival in downtown Jacksonville. Featured events detailed on attached flyer.
When: Saturday, October 5, 2013 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
All day events include community interest tents and giveaways, art activities, fitness activities, a Skyway scavenger hunt, free bike valet, and free Wi-Fi from MacTechPro.
Where: On the Riverwalk behind The Times-Union Center next to The Jacksonville Landing.
Community First Saturdays is just a short walk through The Landing from the former courthouse parking lot on the east end of the Riverwalk, open for free parking on the east end of the Riverwalk. Through our partnership with JTA the Skyway runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during Community First Saturdays. Use the Skyway to explore more Downtown.
Why: Community First Saturdays are held on the first Saturday of each month from September to June. The event offers family-friendly activities outdoors along the beautiful St. Johns River. The event is designed to connect attendees with downtown and the outdoors. Community First Saturdays is made possible by Community First Credit Union and many more sponsors.
