C1 University

C1 University is our award winning corporate university which offers a "blended" approach to employee development.  We offer the following:

  • Technical, Operational and Compliance training programs in both classroom and online format
  • Management and Leadership –related workshops are offered annually for Supervisors, Team Leaders, Management and Executive level employees

Career Development Plan (CDP)

The Career Development Program offers non-exempt employees the opportunity to receive a pay increase while either remaining at the same level or advancing one level, based on the needs of the department. These changes occur when an eligible employee completes the appropriate requirements as outlined in an approved Career Development Plan.

TRACK

The TRACK program is designed to educate all employees in their specific job areas (electives) along with several core classes that are dedicated to Community First's products and procedures. TRACK was developed similarly to the FCCJ Credit Union Certificate program; it offers credit union related topics in an academic environment. This program encourages employees to increase their credit union knowledge, which subsequently will help them with their cross-selling efforts and their professional development.

FCCJ's Credit Union Education Program (CUEP)

(Offered through the Northeast Florida Credit Union Chapter) The credit union will pay a portion of tuition, fees and books for employees with three months of employment attending credit union courses at Florida Community College.

The required courses include: Foundation and Structure of Credit Unions, Human Behavior, Business Mathematics and Fundamentals of Member Services. You can choose from 2 program opportunities

Tuition Reimbursement

The credit union will reimburse a portion of tuition, fees and books paid by an employee to a regionally accredited, post secondary educational institution. The basic requirements are that the employee must be classified as full time or part - time permanent and have worked at the credit union for 90 days. The classes must be job-related.

Job Related Certifications/Designations

Full Time employees with at least three months employment are encouraged to pursue job related certifications or designations. The program will be approved by the VP, Human Resources on a case-by-case basis.

Professional Organization Memberships

The credit union will pay membership dues or participation fees to professional organizations for Executive management personnel or management level employees.
